The DAC's annual luau celebrated the rich traditions of the islands with culture and cuisine. Steel drums, Polynesian dance, a fire dancer enhanced the fantastic feast featuring a whole roast pig. Mahalo to all who turned out.

From the moment they left the DAC, campers dove into a week of adventure, creativity and connection at Camp Manitou. Ziplining, College League games, art and stargazing filled every day with new challenges and warm memories.

Downward Dog indeed! Puppy Yoga with Pawsitive Stretch offered members gentle guided movement as well as cuddles with adoptable pups.

Thank you to all who joined the DAC Foundation to celebrate this year’s Ted Gillary Employee Scholarship recipients. A special check presentation showed how your gifts are making a real impact.

The DAC Baseball Summer Classic brought the heat to Hamtramck Stadium. Members enjoyed batting practice, a friendly scrimmage and classic ballpark vibes. From big swings to bigger smiles, it was a fun-filled night of baseball and camaraderie.

Engines and Ice Cream was a blast! Kids climbed into fire trucks and diggers, cooled off with scoops from Treat Dreams and had fun with bubbles, face painting, photo ops and more. A sweet, hands-on day for the whole family.

Back to the Club favorites Kathy Kosins and her band made Jazz Under the Stars a magical evening. Sophisticated sounds, stimulating company and a top-notch dinner buffet—the perfect blend of creativity and community.

DAC kids met their fellow campers when Camp Manitou Director Tristan Hewat came out for an informational meet and greet in advance of their August outing. The countdown to adventure is on—see you Up North!

Happy 324th birthday, Detroit! We're proud to celebrate this incredible city with a view that says it all—the iconic Motor City skyline as seen from the DAC's seventh floor. Here's to the heart, resilience and greatness of Detroit—past, present and future.

Our youngest members came out for a sunny morning of play, learning and laughter at BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby). With the DAC Accounting team leading games and a Gymboree class for even more fun, it was bubbles, snacks and smiles all around.

DAC families had a wildly fun time at the Feast with Frogs and Friends with GP Zoology. From frogs to snakes and furry critters, guests got up close with amazing animals. Thanks for joining the adventure!

This month’s Table 1915 dinner event, Vegan Sanatorium, took members on a sensory journey through a vibrant fusion of spa-inspired cuisine and harvest-driven flavors. From fresh, seasonal ingredients to inventive plant-based pairings, every bite was a celebration of the earth.

Congrats to Doug Lee, our July Employee of the Month. With the DAC since 2015 and a doorman since 2022, he's positive, helpful and team-focused, going above and beyond for members, guests and staff. Thank you, Doug!

The Mother-Son Tigers Tailgate was a grand slam! From ballpark bites, yard games and crafts to sweet treats, Detroit pride and a visit from Paws, it was a night full of smiles and all-star memories.

Members were spellbound by the return of Master Mentalist Michael Gutenplan. From mind-reading to jaw-dropping illusions, he delivered an unforgettable night of magic.

The Pavilion was buzzing as the Single Malt Society brought Scotch and bourbon head-to-head in a flavor-filled tasting. Guests sipped, savored and voted on standout pours—all paired with elegant hors d’oeuvres by Executive Chef Shawn Loving CMC.
