Peter Obi being sworn in as president of the federal republic of Nigeria come 2027.

This is WILD. A man built a near billion dollar company from his living room. He started with just $20,000, a laptop, and a handful of AI tools, no investors, no team, no office. Matthew Gallagher is a 41 year old based in Los Angeles who used AI to build his software, write his website and ads, generate videos, and handle every customer interaction. His company, Medvi, prescribes GLP-1 weight-loss drugs online and scaled from 300 customers in month one to 1,300 in month two, reaching $401 million in sales in its first year. He then hired his first and only employee, his younger brother Elliot. That is the entire company, two brothers and a network of AI agents, now on pace for $1.8 billion in revenue this year. Now here is what this actually means. The entire economy was built on one assumption that growing revenue required growing headcount but Gallagher just proved that assumption is dead. Every role he replaced with AI, engineer, designer, copywriter, customer support agent, data analyst, those were real jobs people counted on. The health care angle makes this more alarming. Medvi is not selling merchandise, it is prescribing powerful drugs to real patients at massive scale, with two people and software running the show. Regulators are nowhere near ready for what this looks like and the scariest part is that this is only the beginning.
