On the sidelines of the Kyankwanzi retreat, this afternoon I received a delegation led by Mr. Gao Hover, President of Huawei Sub-Saharan Africa. I welcome the offer of setting up a digital village prototype in Butaleja to facilitate the uptake of ICT in rural areas, especially in education and business processes.

Today, we launched the fertilizer distribution program in Kanungu district. This is part of the ongoing campaign to stump & rehabilitate old coffee trees in the country.

I will be speaking today at the @iaco G-25 coffee summit representing H.E @KagutaMuseveni .H.E Uhuru Kenyatta will open the summit. The Inter-African coffee organisation ( IACO) formed in 1960 initially by 11 founding members with 🇺🇬 as one of them gives ua a continental voice..

Summit Update: Hon @FrankTumwebazek @MAAIF_Uganda has addressed delegates from 25 African coffee-producing countries in Kenya & asked them to adopt Uganda’s successful model as a strategy for increasing production & supporting a sustainable coffee value chain on the continent.

The central region edition of the survey which is starting with a total of 44 districts in the country was officially launched on Monday by Hon. @FredBwino on behalf of Hon. @HellenAdoa the Minister of State for Fisheries. #AquaMISUG #BusinessSummitAfrica
