St Luke's is in the rural area of Chipata in Zambia. The hospital opened in April 2023 and treated 3,000 patients in its first month. The new equipment will be operational in November and will make a huge difference to healthcare in this severely impoverished area.

We’re so grateful for your support at our two fundraising events last month which raised money for vital equipment for St Luke’s Hospital. A new X-ray machine, diagnostic ultrasound, haematology analyser, and computers and printers are now on their way to the hospital. 1/2

The Community Skill Project in Ndola funds a three-month, community-based skills training programme in plumbing, electrics, and welding. With money raised at last year’s racing, DAFA purchased safety gear and clothing, and paid for hot meals for all students. 6/7
