It’s been a privilege to be part of Overwatch Esports across so many eras. From grinding Reinhardt at game launch (still whiffing shatters…), to interning during the early OWL days, to helping build OWCS into what it is today… every chapter has been unique, but the passion from this community has been constant.
I’m particularly proud of where we are right now. The momentum this year is real, and it’s a reflection of the hard work from the team, the players and orgs, and all of you cheering us on.
As for me, Friday will be my last day as Head of Overwatch Esports as I pursue a new opportunity. It’s hard to express the gratitude I feel for everyone who’s been part of this journey.
Overwatch Esports is in great hands, and I’m excited to keep supporting (and yelling at my monitor) from the sidelines! 🧡

@Thee_Hawk @JacobLe30659635 Zen metas are easily the best metas in overwatch. Players can actually get punished and the support doesn't have 300 ways to stay alive. Saying this confidently as a tank + dps player

@JacobLe30659635 It is more solved but also doesnt have to be this linear. Unless youre on ball or doom, every tank has the same job, just reskinned and mechanics gap between players. They shouldn’t have removed comps like sombra tracer or zen comps. Macro of the game has stayed same for too long
