NC State Men’s Basketball Coach Kevin Keatts encouraged his players to bring cell phones out before their first practice at the Final Four. He told them to take pictures & capture memories. Typically cell phones stay in the locker room, he said. And that’s where they’ll stay for every practice thereafter. But he wanted his players & staff to have at least one moment to step back, enjoy, & soak it all in. And it’s a powerful reminder that amidst any great climb — it’s important to pause periodically and admire the view.

Yesterday, the men of @sacstaefb registered 228 potential lifesaving matches to the National Bone Marrow Registry. Today was extra special, it would have been my brother Derek’s 48 birthday had he survived leukemia. I am so proud of the work @bethematch is committed to! 💚💙
