@uuallan What's your guess about the shares of victims not paying the ransom? You could argue that total attacks are DOWN: 2022: *if 50% paid*, 672 not leaked, so 1344 total attacks 2023: *if 25% paid*, 285 not leaked, 1140 total attacks

Arguably, some of this increase can be attributed to Cl0p, but they only accounted for 8.6% of all victims during this period.

Ransomware attacks published to data leak sites between January 1 and March 31: 2022: 672 2023: 855 A 27% increase. But, is that because of the Conti disruption, or did ransomware groups read all the stories about ransomware being on the decline and say, "hold my vodka?"
