@rocco_botte @ScratchyDerose Green crystals were uniquely miserable content. The sort of thing you expect to pad out a lame Assassin's Creed game, not a Nintendo flagship title. They didn't ruin the game for me, still a solid 7/10, but they do embody the problems I have with the game.

@rocco_botte @spectraIarrow Fully agree but I wish we did more with Galliard, the guy who was given her powers afterwards. They plant some interesting seeds about how he saw how he saw Reiner was acting from her memories in Paradis, but not much more comes of it. I think there could have been more there.

I actually liked the way her death was portrayed BECAUSE it was disappointing. I agree with you on her being one of my favorites, but the way it was telegraphed in just a footnote, like this beautiful soul is just another person ground up in this twisted cycle of violence and swept away… man that was dark. I think it fit the story.

i don’t know if this is “unpopular” per say, but she was my favorite character the entire show and i was really disappointed by her absence and quick write-off into season 4, i would’ve liked a scene dedicated to her death, not just a still flashback

And Mirio reflects the pure heart of the story. The world needs laughter and positivity to not just survive, but prosper too. His arc was perfect, and while I wish he was more active in the closing acts of the story, he's just my exact type of character so I love him regardless.

I love everything to do with Himiko and how her circumstances reflect the broken system that made her mental illness much worse than it ever needed to be - and how the story goes so far to show how no more children will ever end up like her, thanks to Uraraka's efforts.

With the epilogue of MHA being animated, I finally let my MHA thoughts settle in my brain and made a tier list of my faves. The tier list says a lot visually - there are some standout characters who mean a lot to me, but MAN there are so many nothing characters in this series 😭

what is with one piece players using the ugliest ai you’ve ever seen in your life for their $25 guides

@TCGTaj I love your casting man, and I'm happy the store you're helping is going great, but seeing you use/promote AI art is pretty lame and goes against the spirit of One Piece as a franchise imo. I mean that "Don Krieg" it spewed out is embarrassing 😭

I started hosting One Piece locals in July 2024 at my local game shop to give locals players a place to go and learn and play the game. The owner is a good friend and was kind enough to give me the trust to setup and run the Bandai Card Game events. I've gone through highs and lows, and almost quite hosting it at the end of last year when only 2 people were showing up, but now I have a regular community of players with attendances of 14-16 players every week. I also have a loyal group of Gundam players who play just before One Piece. In the past few months we have: * started a fun "arc" league with end of set prizing and with a website set up to support (thanks to @JoaquimTirach) * We've just started recording locals and will be posting them to my YouTube (that has sat dormant for 2 years) * We have also finally got TCG+ store silver status for One Piece too. I'm so proud of my players and friends who help me make this possible 🙏🏻🫶🏻🏴‍☠️

@Aleczandxr Side note: a phenomenon I've encountered with myself and others who play the game is that if you listen to the Jubilife Village theme in the future it will might a surprisingly emotional reaction. Something about the setting and tone of this game is deeply nostalgic and affecting

@Aleczandxr I agree on the lack of polish, but I love this game as a bold step forward for the franchise and it really reignited my hope in Pokemon after SWSH and BDSP left me very demoralized. SV and ZA left me with mixed feelings, but the hope this game ignited in me hasn't gone out yet 🔥
