God placed them in a position of pain and suffering just to bring them into greatness and abundance. When you read the Bible long enough, you begin to see the ways of God, and one of them is this: if glory and greatness must be received from the hand of God, pain and suffering often precede them. Only crushed lambs are worthy of honor and glory. You are too alive! Allow God to crush you so that He can exalt you.
