Had a young girl (7ish?) come in with her dad. She finds a dressing room and says she's going to live there. I say she has to get permission from her dad and submit a resume. She did, and this is it. I mean, I've seen worse resumes come across my desk.

Sitting with my thoughts results in ADHD paralysis. Having music or audiobooks going is the only way I can get anything done & the latter is the only way to get through hated tasks (incl. walking) w/o spiraling into neg self-talk. Those minutes don't include my iTunes use.

@v_northman I'd always been a pantser. As a result I'd always get myself lost in the weeds and flail around for Act 3 trying to figure it all out. I switched to outlining, mostly using Excel and note cards. For me at least, once the outline is down, the writing is the easy part.

Stopped by a newly-built Goodwill today and picked up this little gem for a cool $29.95. Says it was built in Western Germany and it still works! Came in the original case and even had the original receipt and maintenance kit inside.

@DebiVSmith Watched it with the entire family on a big screen in the backyard and they loved it. When we told them some people felt like it was "inappropriate" they were perplexed. "Who could find anything wrong with that movie?" We assured them we didn't know how either.

These chuckleheads (10 & 6) watched Turning Red this past wknd. A movie made for "a very specific audience" & traumatized kids w/period talk & "sexy" fanfic (we know it's really the parents) seems to have broad non-scandalous appeal. All my non-Asian friends are raving.

Had a work conference call this morning. Pretty mundane stuff, but mostly productive. The presenter asked one guy to talk about his portion and he blurted "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" with a "heh" chaser. Adorable.
