Can you not just go to a game, sing and cheer on yer team minus trying to burn the stadium down, wear black, go fighting and not wear a balaclava?
Why do they need a label? 🙃

@SPFLpyramid @dandydons25 @RidVanPRW You are obviously not very familiar with twitter then by the looks of it.
English

@DBad258 @dandydons25 @RidVanPRW Can I ask
What has having your face on a profile got to do with anything ?
English

@DBad258 @RidVanPRW @SPFLpyramid Up there with most weird things ever said. Cause we have faceless accounts means we’re shitebags. Get a fuckin grip. Not everyone has to be like you have a their face in profiles
English

@RidVanPRW @SPFLpyramid @dandydons25 We aren’t talking about everyone at the football, we are talking about the groups. All faceless accounts are shitebags, or have something to hide or are scared to voice their opinions. Ive dealt with enough, to have second hand embarrassment for them 😂
English

@DBad258 @SPFLpyramid @dandydons25 I agree, but not all the fannies at the football will be ultras, and vice versa. The same can be said about “faceless” accounts 😉
English

@dandydons25 @SPFLpyramid My point is, do all the good stuff without incorporating the bad stuff. That’s surely what the aim nah? Also, using the term “ultra” latches on to a negative side anyway, with all the shite abroad which, is why a lot of people focus on the negative.
English

@DBad258 @SPFLpyramid Which rarely happens btw all the fighting btw but even then it wouldn’t stop it from having the positives of the food banks, collection work, community work for the club does it now
English

@SPFLpyramid @dandydons25 It’s sadly how it is though. Not every fan does, but if you look at it within ultra groups, its very high, when you look at it as a “whole” as fans, its very minimal but its groups associated with ultras. Tells its own story, sadly.
English

@DBad258 @dandydons25 It’s funny how your default opinion is violence.
Not every fan wants to cause trouble, you do know that.
English

@ToughersHopper @OfficialCatchup There’s loads of potential to do good. There’s probably a good conversation to be had to steer it in the right direction but my thoughts are it definitely has the wrong people involved doing it for wrong reasons. Probably deeper into upbringing & background for belonging.
English

Finished this tonight and I’m split down the middle.
Love the fact there’s youngsters wanting to go out and support their local team - but is that really what they’re trying to do or is it an excuse to cause trouble? Especially at the lower/non-league level.
Education is key.

@James_Connolly @SPFLpyramid Being older is probably why I have no time for being wee daftys at the football. I mean it does bring me great joy when they wreck each other’s expensive clothes, not gonna lie 😂
English

@DBad258 @SPFLpyramid “Trying to burn the stadium down” nb pal tell me u are over 40 years old without telling me😂
English

@RidVanPRW @SPFLpyramid @dandydons25 I can have people having a differing opinion. Simple fact is you dont need to be a fanny to support your club/team.
English

@DBad258 @SPFLpyramid @dandydons25 Sounds like you're just not having anyone with a differing opinion. Be better, David.
English

@dandydons25 @SPFLpyramid So you do a good deed, then smack someone in the face. Don’t you see that because there’s negative stuff, the good can’t be good can it? Until you take away the negative, the positive will never be good. See where this is going? Stop being wee fannys, and just be good.
English

@DBad258 @SPFLpyramid No they don’t the good stuff just don’t get mentioned
English

@Spoffshore @BanterSpud @SPFLpyramid But it doesn’t need a label. It doesnt need the bad bells & whistles. I think a big issue thats not talked about is stewards/police taking the easy way out and fundamentally not doing their job which, leads to problems.
There can be a good conversation to do things better.
English

@BanterSpud @DBad258 @SPFLpyramid Maybe some groups do, but personally I hate that, I shouldn't get in trouble because a minority of idiots can't behave themselves. Just ban the troublemakers and let the rest of us enjoy ourselves.
English

@RidVanPRW @SPFLpyramid @dandydons25 It’s all about opinions and I’m not having them. Faceless accounts are always entertaining 👍
English

@Spoffshore @SPFLpyramid I don’t doubt it could be but stadiums aren’t suited for a lot of these things.
English

@DBad258 @SPFLpyramid Anyone caught fighting at games should be banned
Pyro could be regulated rather than banned, been to plenty of eastern European matches were its been done at much larger scale than what we do and is performed safely.
English

@Spoffshore @SPFLpyramid It’s not BS though is it? I think the bigger problem is bigger fanbases with bigger groups, which, is where a lot of fighting happens. Unfortunately, i’ve seen far too much of it in recent years, which has seen some very sad outcomes.
English

@DBad258 @SPFLpyramid Your exact words earlier were 'Let’s be honest, a large majority fight' I am simply pointing out that statement is BS.
I personally believe that face coverings should be banned and stewards should remove people refusing to take them off.
English

@SPFLpyramid @dandydons25 I never said they don’t do good things. But the bad things, far outweigh any good.
English

@DBad258 @dandydons25 Your first message was about, fighting, burning down stadia and masks.
So now you agree that some things done by ultras are good?
English

@dandydons25 @SPFLpyramid Nah, that’s a ridiculous thing to say. You dont need pyro for that, normally someone starting singing does that pal 😂 as it stands, the negatives outweigh the positives no matter how you spin it 👍
English

@DBad258 @SPFLpyramid Pyro does pal it gets people off there and start joining in with the chants. As you’ve just said you focus on the negative and not mentioning any positives at all 👍
English

@Spoffshore Some of these groups, are absolutely not interested in that side of things, no matter how hard people or clubs try. But, I do think it needs to stat somewhere.
English

@DBad258 The only thing that should be done is better relations to the parent clubs to help guide them to being a positive influence rather than what we have at the ugly sisters.
English

@dandydons25 @SPFLpyramid Im focused on the negative because there’s lots of it. My point is, it doesn’t need to be negative. You can do good work, without fighting/causing damage. Pyro doesnt build an atmosphere, chanting/signing does that.
English

@DBad258 @SPFLpyramid But you haven’t mentioned any good stuff they do like the tifos, community work, food banks. You’ve just purely focused on the negative. Fighting is between ultra groups. Pyro builds up the atmosphere.
