A meeting of the Governing Body of DUDA, Bomdila on Solid Waste Management and implementation of the New SWM Rules, 2026 was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Dilip Kumar, DC-cum-Chairman DUDA at DC Office Bomdila on May 13. The DC stressed strict implementation of mandatory four-stream waste segregation, awareness among schools and business establishments, compliance by hotels & homestays, tourist sensitisation and community composting initiatives to ensure a cleaner and sustainable Bomdila township.

A coordination meeting on the #VibrantVillagesProgramme (VVP–II) was held at DC Office Bomdila with HoDs, SSB, ADCs & ZPMs to discuss guidelines, gap analysis and new proposals for border villages.
