There are two positions in the #Bears starting lineup that are 2027 needs: LB and CB.
In the case of CB, I’d be cool with one early. Valuable position; a rookie could compete for a starting spot Year 1.
For a non-premium position like LB, I’d rather wait until Day 3 or 2027.

@AaronLemingNFL I definitely am a fan of Lawrence over Faulk and Mesidor. But for me I think people are sleeping on Dennis-Sutton. Penn State was an absolute mess and he still performed through it.

My round 1 #Bears hot take: DE Malachi Lawrence is my favorite option for them.
I just cannot get on board with Keldrick Faulk. Not sure Akheem Mesidor is a fit, & TJ Parker is meh for me. Absolutely not on Zion Young.
That said, edge seems like a spot they’ll go Day 2.

The closer we get to the Draft the less likely I think the Bears draft a DE in Rd 1 unless one of the guys expected to go earlier falls.

@ErikLambert1 Pick 25 will definitely be best player available. Having two second rounders makes this possible. If the reports are right there wasn't many players graded out across the league as first rounders. So if one is there it could be a surprise pick. I wouldn't rule out anything.

The options for edge and safety will be way better at 57 than offensive tackle.
