Congratulations to Melissa Friesen of Durham's Game-Art program for placing first in 3D Art in Ubisoft Toronto's 2023 NEXT contest!

It's become a tradition over the years that after the Animation program's Annual All-Years Screening, the 3rd Years pass on their wisdom and advice to the 1st and 2nd years (a.k.a. next year's 2nd and 3rd years), also the first time in person since 2019!

This week Durham's Animation program had its Annual All-Years Screening of the each student's best work from all three years, first time back in person since 2019!

It was so good to see the Game-Art and Animation grads from 2020 at Convocation - it'd felt like we'd been cheated by the pandemic shutdown from a proper ending to the school year. Looking forward to the grads from 2021 tomorrow! #DCgrad2022.

Hey, it's #ThrowbackThursday! Let's look back at October 2020 when we designed a custom VR controller for @BadJumpGames Catch Driver VR cabinet using an Arduino board, Load Cell Sensors, and Unity3D.
