GCS to move to Attendance Plan 2 starting September 8, absent any dramatic swings in spread data. Plan 2 includes 2 days of in-person attendance & 3 days eLearning/week. Approximately 50% of students are in the building each day. Plan 2 will be in effect until further notice.

GCS has announced that in-person school will start of Monday, August 24 on Attendance Plan 1, with students attending school on their assigned color day 1 day a week, and eLearning 4 days a week. Virtual students also begin on 8/24. bit.ly/30MotQ9

The SC Legislature has allocated some of the CARES Act funding to be used to supply 100,000 student households across SC with free internet through December 2020. Applications must be submitted by August 3. Requirements and application information here: bit.ly/3hVCnF1

Greenville County Schools has moved the start-date for the 2020-21 school year from August 17 to August 24, which is one week later than our original plan. This allows time to reconstruct class rosters and allocate teachers for the Virtual Program option. bit.ly/3jf7WLG
