Student interns are in their final week of career-focused project sessions. Students have been researching their career of interest and developing a project with the guidance of their mentor who works in that career. Interns will be presenting their projects starting on June 7th.

April is #FinancialLiteracyMonth and our student interns in the CEO Program are partaking in professional development seminars involving budgeting, credit and debit cards, identify theft, investing, and a variety of other topics. @dcpublicschools

We partner with families to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities, providing student-centered career readiness experiences designed to facilitate the attainment of post-school aspirations. Join us April 5, 2022 at 5:30 pm to learn more. @dcpublicschools

Our Project SEARCH candidates participated in skills assessment day today. They were able to show their skills in a variety of hospitality tasks at @HiltonHotels in Crystal City including data entry, housekeeping, and team-building among others.

CEO interns had great conversations this week on the topic of Self-Advocacy. They identified traits that they value and want to communicate to others which included their work ethic, communication skills, respect for others, and intelligence. #DCPS #youth #interns
