Fellow youths, we're never too young to fight for our future, and we're never too busy on TikTok to stand up for our rights. If we sit back and let others decide, we'll be the ones losing out the most. Let's rise up and make our voices heard. @#NoTo2030nonsense @DCPlatform25

While the government cites Middle East tensions (the US/Israel and Iran conflict) as the cause, experts point out that nearly 40% of that $2.17 price actually comes from domestic taxes, levies, and ethanol blending mandates. This is why Zimbabwe is seeing such a sharp spike compared to its neighbors.

"It is deeply concerning to see fuel prices in Zimbabwe soar well above regional averages. At a time when the public is already navigating significant economic hardship, these increases feel less like a market adjustment and more like an unsustainable pressure. We need more equitable energy policies that prioritize the stability of the people and the economy." #NoTo2030 @edmnangagwa @DCPlatform25 @nelsonchamisa @RUMBIEPROPERTIE @advocatemahere #edmustgo #defendetheconstitution

Gentle reminder📌
The right to #education is a fundamental human right.📚
According to Section 75 of the Zimbabwean Constitution :
(1) Every citizen and permanent resident of Zimbabwe has a right to— (a) a basic State-funded education, including adult basic education; and (b) further education, which the State, through reasonable legislative and other measures, must make progressively available and accessible.
(2) Every person has the right to establish and maintain, at their own expense, independent educational institutions of reasonable standards, provided they do not discriminate on any ground prohibited by this Constitution.
(3) A law may provide for the registration of educational institutions referred to in subsection (2) and for the closing of any such institutions that do not meet reasonable standards prescribed for registration.
(4) The State must take reasonable legislative and other measures, within the limits of the resources available to it, to achieve the progressive realisation of the right set out in subsection (1).

🚨 DROP YOUR VOICE CAMPAIGN
Fellow young Zimbabweans,
Parliament is considering Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 of 2026, which could change key parts of our Constitution.
The 2013 Constitution was adopted by the people through a national referendum.
That means the Constitution belongs to the people.
Any fundamental change to it must return to the people to decide.
Young people are the largest generation in Zimbabwe.
Our future should never be decided without our voice.
That is why I am launching the DROP YOUR VOICE CAMPAIGN.
📢 How to participate:
1️⃣ Sign the national petition calling for the people to decide:
🌐 dcpzim.com
2️⃣ Record a short 30-second video explaining why young people must defend their voice.
OR
3️⃣ Write a short message on paper (example: “Let the People Decide”) and take a photo.
Send your video or photo so we can amplify youth voices across Zimbabwe.
🗳 Our future. Our voice.
DROP YOUR VOICE.

At the launch of the One Million Voices petition , the Parliamentary and Political Engagement Desk Coordinator led by Hon @agencygumbo laid it out straight. He has been crisscrossing this country talking to political players across the divide opposition, ruling party, youth leagues, women's groups. The message has been consistent every step of the way: the Constitution is not the property of politicians. It belongs to the people who adopted it in 2013.
He reminded us that this is not about party politics. Today one party might want to change the rules. Tomorrow another might benefit from those same changes. That is exactly why the Constitution must remain anchored in the sovereign will of the people. Any fundamental change especially on term limits or governance structures must go back to a referendum. No shortcuts. No backroom deals.
Hon . A Gumbo also put the task firmly in our hands. We voted these MPs into Parliament. We sent them there. Now it is our job to go back to them and demand answers. Where do they stand on this defining moment? Are they with the people or against us? We have every right to ask because they work for us. They must answer back to us.
That is what the One Million Voices petition is about. It is a direct message that we are watching and we will not be ignored. Sign your name. Make your voice count. Hold them accountable.

To: All Servants of Zimbabwe
From: Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (ARTUZ)
Date: March 15 2026
Subject: Defending Our Ballot Securing Our Bread, The Fight Against Constitutional Amendment No. 3
Comrades and Colleagues, the life of a Zimbabwean civil servant is a tough one. We do not just struggle to get a salary but we also struggle to be heard by the people who decide our fate. Today we face a threat to our dignity. The government wants to change the Constitution with Amendment No. 3 Which means we will not be able to vote for our President. Instead, members of Parliament will choose the President. This is not a change in politics it is a direct attack on our working conditions.
The President has a lot of power over our lives.
To understand why it is important for us to vote for our President we need to look at how the laws work. The President is not a figurehead he is the one who decides our fate.
1. The President appoints the people who're in charge of our working conditions. He decides how much they get paid and how long they work. This means that the people who are supposed to protect us are actually answerable to the President.
2. The President also has to agree to any changes in our salaries and benefits. Even if we negotiate with our employers the President has the say.
The Constitution says that the people in charge of our working conditions must make sure we are treated fairly. However if the President appoints these people and decides what they can and cannot do then they are not really working for us.
If we do not get to choose our President then he will not be answerable to us.
We need to make it clear that if we vote for someone they should be answerable to us.
* If a President knows that he has to face us in an election he will try to make our lives better.
• If the President is chosen by members of Parliament he will only care about what they think not what we think. He will not worry about the problems of a teacher in Mutoko or a nurse in Gokwe.
• If the President is not chosen by us he will be like a king. If he does not listen to us we will not be able to vote him out.
Civil servants should be at the forefront of stopping any changes that take away our right to choose our President. We cannot let a few politicians decide who our employer will be.
If the President is not answerable to us he will not care about our pension, our bonus or our salary in US dollars.
We call on all servants to join us in rejecting Amendment No. 3. We need to make sure that the President is chosen by us and is answerable, to us.
In Solidarity

No amount of cohesion, force, manipulation that can make us accept this Amendment without proper referendum. Public hearings are only a charade. We need a new government that will respect it's Citizens.
