We can confirm that a member of US Park Police was shot in the 5000 blk of Queens Stroll Place SE. The officer was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. We’re all sending prayers for the officer and @1791FOP at this time.

Child Killer Gets 107 Year Prison Term for Murder of 13 Year-Old Malachi Lukes in Washington DC 🚨 26 year-old Reginald Steele Jr., of Washington DC, has been sentenced today to 1,284+ months in prison for shooting and killing 13-year-old Malachi Lukes (pictured below) back in 2020, the US Attorney for Washington DC Jeanine Pirro announced. “Steele Jr. and his crew hunted down 13-year-old Malachi Lukes, who was walking to a basketball court, shooting him in the back as he ran for his life. Of course @Janeese4DC voted against curfews for DC kids. She believes compassion for these children is the pathway to rehabilitation. But at this point, that kind of “compassion” is just abject neglect.

Local grifter says having curfews or arresting people for committing violent acts is what causes this behavior. DC will never be fixed if we keep listening to people who make money off of dysfunction.

There was a shootout in our ANC last night. A family with kids is looking to move after 15 years here. A neighbor who has lived here 30 years said he’s never heard so many shots. I wish our mayoral candidates would stop pretending the District’s violent crime crisis is fixed.

🚨 SHOTS FIRED IN SE DC — ONE TEEN ARRESTED According to preliminary information, officers heard a gunshot in the 100 block of M Street S.E. near First Street S.E. prompting an immediate response from law enforcement in the area. Officials say a brief pursuit occurred through a nearby alley, during which Secret Service officers reportedly observed the suspect throw a firearm. The suspect was ultimately apprehended and arrested near the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and K Street S.E. Authorities recovered the weapon and placed the individual into custody without further incident. No injuries have been reported.
