Today Vice President Kamala Harris and the Governor of North Carolina Roy Cooper visited the Durham Center for Senior Life to talk about Medicare coverage and lowering the prescription costs for senior citizens.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of @NCCULAW students who chose to spend their day of service with the DCSL community. They organized an indoor bowling game, led a craft table, and helped serve our congregate meal. We're grateful for their kindness and service!

This past Friday, MIMB staff went to @DCSLNC to present the Versatile Pantry curriculum. Participants were tasked with identifying staple foods they keep in the pantry, brainstorming different meals to make during a power outage, and easy ways to keep your food supply organized.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Health Fair today! DCSL's Health Fair focused on older adults' health and wellness needs, providing services including blood pressure checks, mental health resources, cooking demos, and notary services.
