A morning of reflection. We only really see what we want people to see on social media, which often means it’s not a true reflection, 2023 has far and away been the hardest year of my life and the biggest fight to date. I said goodbye to a job I loved with some of the best people I’ve ever met up in Catterick with P Coy, a job that I’d always wanted to do, I failed my marriage because I was too much of a coward to tell her, and I’ve battled with my self worth for as long as I can remember. Leaving that job spiralled me, I was now in a place where I had time to think, this did me no favours whatsoever and I became lost, all the things I used to enjoy I no longer enjoyed. I pushed people away, even those closest to me. Thankfully I stayed away from the alcohol apart from the odd 1 or 2 drinks at a function. Plenty of positives too, I met @ZaraDurrant, who I can hand on heart say, I wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for her. As mental as she can be at times, she gives me perspective, a different spin on things from another point of view, this has helped me massively and I’m extremely grateful that fate put us together x. Through Zara I’ve been introduced to the world of Darts, I’ve been privileged enough to meet some absolutely quality people that do so much for others, I’ll not name you all but you know who you are. Together we’ve given a little back, charity work through Healing Military Minds, SSAFA, Combat Stress and Scottys little soldiers. This work will continue in 2024. I’m not going to say 2024 is going to get better, because I honestly don’t know what it has in store for us, but I do know that getting out of bed in the morning is a win, may only be small to some but I’m honestly grateful, and grateful to those that have stood by me. I know nothing is going to be given to me on a plate, everything takes work, and I’m up for that, I have my own fight to deal with and I know many of you do too. Stay strong, Dig in and ride it out, it’s hard, it’ll always be hard but you’ve got this. Whatever your doing, stay low, move fast and live for the moment 🫶🏻

We are saddened to hear of the death of His Royal Highness the Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, whom we warmly welcomed to Dulwich College in 1969. Our thoughts and prayers are with Her Majesty the Queen and family.
