Happy 113th anniversary to the DCPSC! We were established in March 1913 and originally led by Chairman Lt. Col. Chester Harding. Sworn in by President Woodrow Wilson, Harding was a skilled member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. In honor of the 100th anniversary of Black History Month, a group of our staff joined a tour of the Freedom & Resistance exhibition at the @dcpl that featured the local history of resistance as well as original works of art by Black artists and District youth.

We've awarded $3M for a solar pilot project to bring more clean energy to DC. This project has the potential to cut carbon emissions, make renewable power more accessible to residents, and use innovative technology to keep the grid stable and reliable. dcpsc.org/Clean-Energy/I…

The District has launched a new pilot program bringing curbside EV charging to every ward. Sixteen Level-2 chargers (the first of which is in Adams Morgan) will help make EVs a more viable option for residents without driveways or garages.
