Yes it’s #1 vs #2 but the game is meaningless. Both teams are in the CFP and both will have 1st round byes. They won’t directly say it but both teams would be ok with a loss here, as long as they stay healthy. Bama/Georgia rematch where it’s win or they are out for Bama? That’s pretty damn big. But yes the optics don’t look great. I get that.

ABC/ESPN, which all but owns the SEC, is refusing to send College Gameday to the #1 vs. #2 conference championship game between the last two major undefeateds in the country, all because that game/conference has a deal with a different media network. Corruption in college sports is real, and it’s being driven by media contracts, in case you’re wondering why certain networks are always fraudulently hyping garbage programs for post-season appearances while ignoring great teams in conferences covered by rival media outlets.

@Gcarmi21 I agree. Which leads to my next concern, Kliff. Too many players are getting into the backfield unchecked and amount of pressures are way too high. Yes, Jayden getting hurt wasnt on a designed run play but he was set up for zero success before the ball was snapped.

People have been smashing Dan Quinn for leaving Jayden Daniels in late in the game. I get it to an extent. But it's a little knee-jerk. Quinn, Peters, and the team have been overly cautious with Daniels/injuries all season. Always thinking about his long-term future. Sitting him against his will. Sometimes, things happen. #RaiseHail
