Finally, a third ballot initiative from @DCaffordability that would impose a two-year rent freeze cleared its basic legal threshold to be able to appear on the ballot. Plenty of process left to go, and it's looking likely that if it gets on the ballot, it won't be until 2027.

Interesting: The proposed @DCaffordability ballot initiative that would freeze rents in D.C. for two years and change income targets for affordable housing programs is facing potentially significant legal hurdles to getting on the ballot for this year (or ever).
