One of my biggest pet-peeves is outsiders calling Pittsburgh “Pitt” …since it’s not correct in any way at all. “Pitt” only works for the university. And now the show. No one from Pittsburgh calls Pittsburgh “Pitt” because we know it’s wrong. Pitt fans don’t even do it.

UPDATE: PRT tells me Monroeville park and ride back open, they have secured an 100 additional spots and anticipate securing more this afternoon. The mall told PRT that it will ticket people who park in the mall lots and ride the football Flyer.

Monroeville Mall park and ride already at capacity an hour before Draft campus opens, this is where people pick up the free Football Flyer buses. Seems like Pittsburghers really followed “don’t drive” suggestion because traffic on interstates is non existent.

Riding my bike in took just over 20 mins from Bloomfield to Point. Streets are filling up w/ pedestrians, but light on cars. Bike lane on Penn technically is closed but roads are closed to cars & no security staff minded that I rode slowly through. Might be harder as crowds grow
