The system, known as “Shvydun” has been cleared for operational use and is already protecting Ukrainian cities. It is specifically engineered to intercept a wide range of Russian drones, including Shahed-136, Geran, Zala and Supercam systems — the backbone of Russia’s long-range strike campaign. According to official data, Shvydun has already destroyed around 100 enemy drones, placing it among the most effective Ukrainian-made interceptor platforms currently in service.
