The Eagles drafted Jihaad Campbell in the 1st round to replace Nakobe Dean. Then Nakobe Dean surpassed all expectations and played even better post-injury. Now the Eagles have a difficult decision to make in the offseason.

Vic Fangio has been talking about retirement since before the end of the season, but the #Eagles had yet to receive a final decision either way as of recently. “He keeps talking retirement, but he did the same last year,” a team source said last week. The 67-year-old defensive coordinator hasn’t responded to questions about his future since the end of the season. The team remains hopeful that Fangio will eventually decide to return. At locker clean out, I asked LB Nakobe Dean if he thought Fangio would retire. “I don’t really know,” Dean said. “Vic always said — well, I won’t say ‘always said’ — but I remember he said he’ll stop coaching when it don’t get fun — or as fun — as it’s been. So that’s TBD.”
