@Microinteracti1 We’re in Londonistan for a boy’s weekend. People have been offensively welcoming, respectful & overly accommodating dealing with broad Glasgow accents! Disgraceful! 😀

🇬🇧 Just got back from London. According to MAGA and Elon Musk, I should have been robbed, stabbed, and left for dead somewhere in a no-go zone. Instead I found a city that’s loud, alive, and doing just fine. Turns out the apocalypse was only visible from inside the bubble.

I have now written as a former Chair of Hearts to SFA Chief Executive, Ian Maxwell, asking for a review of last Saturday’s match where it is increasingly clear rules were broken when the match was stopped because of pitch invasion before all the extra time had been played

@ETimsNet From memory didn’t it prompt the NTV headline “What’s an away goal Dad”?

Hearts yönetimi, Celtic taraftarının sahaya girdiği esnada maçın halen devam etmesinin açık bir ihlal olduğunu düşünüyor. Gerekli dosyalar hazırlanarak FIFA'ya başvurulacak. (The Sun)

@rosscolquhoun Great to see. Hearts players deserve all the plaudits in a remarkable season & fitting that the fans acknowledge the players efforts in taking it to the last day.

Seeing some fans mock this, but this is what football is all about - a community supporting your team when they win and when they come close. Too much of modern football has become over-commercialised and sanitised, especially at the top level.
BBC Sport Scotland@BBCSportScot

Hearts are welcomed back to Tynecastle by a defiant support. Defeat to Celtic on the final day of the season ended their hopes of bringing home the club's first top flight title since 1960. #BBCFootball

Just back from Parkhead The fans in hospitality were friendly Particularly Brian Wilson Some wouldn’t even have minded if we had won But the outcome left a bad taste in the mouth & the result appeared predetermined Some kind of inquiry is needed

@EwenDCameron @Gino73612743 Your opinions aren’t in question; it’s your hysterical accusations of corruption that resulted in a man, doing his job, having to flee his house with his family. A period of quiet introspection & less engagement farming would be appropriate for a professional broadcaster

@Gino73612743 I stand by my opinions. The decision to award a penalty is incorrect.

🏆 Celtic v Hearts Today we should be at Tynecastle for the final day of the season but instead we head to Celtic Park for a title showdown. If we win the league it will be up there with one of the greatest sporting achievements of all time. When you have the likes of the Wall Street Journal, with its 22 million followers, writing about us then you know we’ve done something quite remarkable. No matter the outcome today I will be outside Tynecastle waiting on the boys to return from Glasgow. Thank you Derek and the team for everything. It has been an unbelievable season and this is only the beginning. ♥️

@Celtic67Champs Made sure “Questions have to be asked” was the key phrase. Said it twice. Absolutely no back tracking, he’s just delivering the poison on a sugar cube!

McInnes isn’t alone here but he pretty much started this with his immediate post match interview. Most of the noise around this has come from fans, biased media pundits and a statement from a club who weren’t even involved in the match.

Motherwell-Celtic referee John Beaton & his family had to spend last night under police surveillance after his details were posted online. The SFA have very strongly condemned the “knee-jerk” & “hysterical” narrative surrounding the Celtic penalty award. More on @SkySportsNews.

@Stoneysnapper @Zeshankenzo Lot of people are engagement farming on the back of this. Nobody questioned Nicholson’s integrity & asking someone to “swear on their kid’s lives” over a game is mental. I can understand officials having unconscious bias but howlers like Cameron are accusing them of corruption!

The whole premise of Ewen’s tweet here is that this is a “new video” when it’s the original video flipped. He’s that daft he hasn’t noticed that the SPFL badges are now miraculously on the left arms of the Motherwell strips. Honestly how do these guys get jobs in broadcasting.
Ewen Cameron@EwenDCameron

Those who questioned the integrity of Sam Nicholson owe the boy an apology. The @MotherwellFC player swore on his kids life that the ball didn’t strike his hand. This new video clip is the clearest evidence of that. I’m looking at you @shebahn @chris_sutton73

@SkySportsNews @AnthonyRJoseph “Questions need to be asked but today’s not the day for it”! But I’ll just repeat it twice. If he’s confident that there’s corruption; then say so! His insinuations are sleekit & ignores the benefit his own team have had from these same officials!
