With thanks to DDAF for the spay/neuter grant, Pets Uniting People Society (PUPS) was able to provide the spay/neuters as part of the adoption network with Lifeline and Petsmart (Huber Heights) for a great National Adoption Week. Here are pictures of some of the adoptions.

Alma Rescues's sweet maltipoo NOVA was abandoned by her family of 4 yrs & had a rough time afterwards, but got her new Forever Home with new mom Tina! They both love each other & Tina said she is very grateful to our Rescue for uniting them.

Sharing an update on Peri from @law_n_paws whose story was shared earlier this year. She did develop kennel cough but the good news is that overall she is doing well. She has been eating, drinking water, and continues to have a very sweet demeanor.

The Easter bunny has paid a visit to our mustang herd @HorsesTirNaNog! We wish you a Happy Easter! Easter brings the spirit of hope and transformation. Our mustang herd was transformed from neglect and hardship to freedom and joy thanks to the Doris Day Animal Foundation.

Thanks to the incredible team at @SaveTheChimps, rescued chimpanzees get the chance to live in peace, safety, and family groups. Kiley’s Island is home to 15 chimpanzees—thirteen rescued from medical research and two from the entertainment industry.

@AceOfHeartsDogs rescued Irie from a high kill LA County shelter. She is a 1 yr old terrier mix. She is such a sweet and loving girl, and she may be small but she has a big personality. We found out that she has Giardia and Pneumonia and is now being treated for both.

Meet Dude! Thanks to everyone who has helped Dude get to where he is today as a conservation canine prospect with @WD4C, and thank you to all our incredible supporters who help make second chances for dogs like Dude possible!

Meet Hope! We rescued Hope at just one year old in 2006 when sheriffs reached out to Apache Way Farm Rescue and Sanctuary about a mini being abused. She has become one of the happiest friendliest residents. A huge thank you to DDAF, for helping our tiny girl live her best life!

The Blind Spot Animal Sanctuary life is always buzzing. Every day, there are little “working bees” zipping around the sanctuary cleaning, feeding, repairing fences, carrying hay, and doing a hundred unseen things so the animals here can have the safe and happy life.

Roman the Great Dane got his rabies shot; after the vaccine and vet exam we half jokingly asked Roman “Roman where’s your mom?” He immediately jumped on ARF staff member Amanda and began licking her in the face, as if to tell us, She is!!! All the dogs LOVE Amanda! W

Timmy finally found his forever family! He was found on the streets in Tijuana and lovingly cared for by Alma Rescue's rescue partner. After being at several adoption events, he finally found his perfect match! We are so happy for all of them!

The Doris Day Animal Foundation grant made it possible for @AveryHumaneSoc to help these sweet kittens. Because of you, these kittens are defined not by injury or hardship but by opportunity and home.
