I truly do not care at all. The NCAA has been corrupt and inconsistent for years. I look forward to their eventual demise. Bring on the madness, I support it all and await the day for a commissioner and collective bargaining 🥂

@davidpollack47 Buddy, stop. Georgia was starting trust funds in the names of parents to get kids to come and play for them before NIL. Stop acting upset now.

If the NCAA won't draw a line in the tampering sand then it's ruined the sports we all love.

@davidpollack47 Buddy, you can stop picking and choosing which school to be outraged about. You deciding to have some sort of moral high ground is pretty telling. You still on that Jimmy Sexton trip or what? Your dear old Georgia did the same thing.

@sglockett I have one of those! As long as you can stay halfway warm, that’s a big deal. And that generator will pay for itself fast! Pray y’all stay safe and get power soon.

@sglockett Ice storms are the worse thing for electrical systems. They’re like bombs that don’t end. Slow, slow work. But they’re coming. I know it’s frustrating. Ice storm of 21 down here caused me to buy a generator.

@DDBRebs Thank you for the reassurance. We’re fine, really…warm and fed. A lot of folks are worse off than us.

@sglockett I’ll also say, if you’re on a line with few people, you may be towards the back of the line. The priorities is always numbers, and not necessarily areas. I know that HUNDREDS of extra linemen are on the way to help. Hopefully it won’t be long.

@sglockett Most of the time, they won’t give an estimate. They can promise two hours, but if something goes sideways and delays that, then they’ve just lied. Some companies give estimates to appease customers but they rarely hit them. I know it sucks but I promise those men are on the way.

Did you know Mississippi puts a higher local and state tax burden on its citizens than any other state in the South? (will post the link below) We still, for example, have the second highest car tag fees in the country. The answer is to cut the fat from state government and then cut cut cut taxes to make our economy more competitive. And my office has found hundreds of millions of dollars of waste in government that could be eliminated with the right leadership: ⁃State agencies buying TVs for $5800 ⁃Welfare money going to beauty pageants, speeding tickets for rich people, “community gardens” that never got built, etc. ⁃Medicaid paying for dead folks’ healthcare ⁃Politicians taking the state plane to out-of-state baseball games ⁃Hundreds of thousands of dollars for state employees’ cell phones that never get turned on ⁃Books for public libraries telling kids that “whiteness is a bad deal” and other crazy material ⁃Millions in education/health benefits to illegal immigrants ⁃Millions in Medicaid going to people making too much money to be on the program ⁃Millions going to DEI offices that spend money on things like social justice yoga for preschoolers (seriously) ⁃More money spent to insure state office buildings than the state of Florida pays to insure its buildings, and unused office space the state is renting ⁃School districts paying for multiple pieces of software that all do the same thing ⁃Bloated education administrator salaries compared to other states ⁃More spending on cars for state employees than the states of Louisiana, Arkansas, or Iowa spend ⁃Taxpayer funding for college degree programs that teach trans/gender ideology ⁃Hundreds of millions in unemployment going to ineligible people ⁃The state spending more on education administration than any other state in the South …and on and on. Time to cut fat and cut taxes.

If any of you Oxford folks need any help, @ReedTimmerUSA and @Unitedcajunnavy will be in the area with chainsaws and doing welfare checks. You can follow him for more information. Look, this power restoration could take days or weeks. Be patient. Be kind. Help your neighbors.

@2MKJ7 Try to stay warm. From what I’m seeing power restoration may be slow. Depending on where you are. It’s a mess up there for sure.

From my neighborhood 200+ houses looking back toward town. Not a light on here. At least part of town does. Erie
