This kid started kindergarten 13 yrs ago with a thick English accent after arriving 2 days earlier from London. He loved horses, rugby and USC football. I patched it together to raise these babies on my own, with the love of a small crew of steady hands and so many encouragers along the way: yesterday he walked into the Coliseum to become a 4th generation Trojan athlete and played two quarters in his first game for his 5yo heart's favorite team. So deeply grateful for all the hands and hearts that nourish this kiddo's dreams. Don't ever doubt, that even in the harshest of circumstances, soils, and climates - your fractured heart, hopes and dreams - can bloom in ways you could never imagine.
