If 30 dual players choose hurling, that gives 30 others real game time in football.
Games develop players, not panels.

@johnnymythen It’s not obsessing about Wexford hurling, it’s being concerned that we don’t try excel at both. 140 chaps on an u14 hurling panel with 30 of them not allowed play football. This and other things going on will only ensure Wexford won’t challenge like they did this year.

Can we get some Drs into asses the state of Wexford football and make sure we stay at the ‘top’ table or is it only hurling that we care about? Tell those 140 chaps on the u14 hurling panel that we are actually a decent football county too. 👍

@NoelHolohan There's hundreds of kids would love to TRAIN county or school.....but they're told they can't.
Having as many as you can playing either hurling or football is the best way. The policy is correct.

@DECLANHEFF Sorry just to make the point clearer. A chap decent enough to be county standard is not allowed to play county hurling and football for Wexford.

Rugby is a game for all shapes and sizes. Depower the scrum anymore and you may as well watch a rugby league match.
It will destroy the community game if there is no place for your good old fashioned type of prop.
