Delaware DOC is heading to Newark National Night Out! 📅 Tues, August 4 🕕 6–8 p.m. 📍 Academy Street, Newark Meet some of Delaware’s outstanding Probation and Parole officers, learn about and learn about the important work they do in our communities.

In 10 mos., P&P, along w/ Food Bank of DE, have provided food to ~1,300 families across the state. Outreach efforts are just one example of the many ways our officers build positive relationships, strengthen communities, and connect people with the resources they need to succeed.

What an incredible week at the Delaware Department of Correction Youth Academy! 🎉 This week, we welcomed an outstanding group of future leaders, ages 10–13, for five action-packed days of learning, teamwork, and fun.

Community Corrections Treatment Center offender Thomas Butler, who failed to return from an approved programming pass on April 22, 2026, has been apprehended in New Jersey by Atlantic City, NJ Police.  Details regarding extradition to Delaware are pending.

7/19: Moses Warren, who on failed to return from an approved work pass to the Newark area was apprehended by Delaware DOC Officers and returned to custody. He was committed to HRYCI on an Escape after Conviction Warrant in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
