Detail Commercial Solicitors (DETAIL) acted as legal advisers to Transgrid Enerco, on the successful completion of its acquisition of a 60% equity stake in Eko Electricity Distribution Company (Eko DisCo) — Nigeria’s second-largest electricity distribution company. The acquisition, valued at approximately ₦416 Billion ($290 Million), is one of the largest private deals in Nigeria’s power sector in over a decade and is widely regarded as Nigeria’s first market-driven acquisition in the power sector.
