The new call center is now answering a newly established general question toll-free hotline: (800) 603-9671. Operation hours are of M-F, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Staff will assist claimants with general questions related to the unemployment insurance filing process.

NOTICE TO CLAIMANTS: Claimants instructed to provide information to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation regarding their claim, can mail it to the two locations as noted below. Information dropped off in person cannot be accepted.

REMINDER: Today the state unemployment insurance website will be down today, April 11, 2020 at 1 p.m. until midnight in order to conduct system enhancements and take steps towards the fast-track implementation of the federal CARES Act.

The state unemployment insurance (UI) website (ui.nv.gov) will be down on Sat., April 11, 2020 at 1 p.m. until midnight. During this time, all UI functions, including unemployment filing will not be functional. Filers should visit after midnight on Saturday evening

***CLAIMS UPDATE*** Finalized state data shows initial claims for unemployment insurance totaled 79,285 regular initial claims for the week ending April 4. This is the second highest weekly total in state history.
