DETV is proud to launch Lights, Camera, Learn!, a hands-on STEM and media after-school program designed for Wilmington students ages 11–14!
This exciting 12-week program gives students real-world experience in a professional studio environment where they’ll learn:
🎥 Camera operation & filming
🎙 Podcasting & audio production
✂️ Video editing & storytelling
🧠 Media literacy & STEM skills
🤝 Teamwork, creativity & confidence-building
📍 Who: Wilmington residents, ages 11–14
📅 When: Tuesdays & Thursdays | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
🗓 Start Date: February 25
⏳ Duration: 12 Weeks
This is more than an after-school program — it’s an opportunity for young creators to develop valuable media, technology, and communication skills in a real TV studio setting.

In addition to hands-on media training, participating students and families will have access to wraparound support services provided through Wilmington Housing Authority, helping ensure students have the resources they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
