I also think Miura would've wrote the entire cast to be a lot more human and real. Tappei writes his cast to be human as well, but he does rely on a lot of gimmicks for them. He probably wouldn't write Rem and Ram's whole 'rem rem' and 'nee-san, nee-san' gimmick.
