Delighted to hand over £900 to @DundeeFCAcademy with Simon Murray 🤝 Simon’s incredibly generous donation of £450 (matched by us with another £450) will be put towards the boys heading to a tournament near London ⚽️

What a guy Simon Murray is 👏 During the auction at our Player of the Year dinner, he bid the highest in the room to win a signed Mulligan top for £450. Simon has requested this money go to the DFC Academy. To thank him the DSA will match this, giving the Academy £900 in total ⚽️

Everyone at the Dundee Supporters Association was saddened to learn of the passing of former DSA vice-chairman Dave Forbes. Dave was a lifelong supporter of The Dee, a member club secretary & served on the boards of both DFC & Dee4Life. Our thoughts go out to his family & friends

Celtic vs Dundee – Match Postponed Our William Hill Premiership match against Celtic scheduled for today, Saturday 25th January, at 3pm has been postponed due to damage caused to Celtic Park as a result of the severe weather conditions. This match has been rescheduled and will now take place on Wednesday 5th February at 7:45pm. Match tickets bought for the original fixture will be valid for the rescheduled match on the 5th February. #Dundee1893

Cesar Garza to join the Dee! 🇲🇽 Dundee Football Club is delighted to announce that Mexican midfielder Cesar Garza is currently en route from his home country to join the Dees on a yearlong loan deal when the January transfer window opens, subject to international clearance and being granted the necessary visa. Cesar will join us from leading Liga MX side CF Monterrey, with whom the club has a strategic partnership. Once available for selection, Cesar will wear the number 14 jersey for the Dark Blues. On Sunday night Dundee Football Club and the Dundee Supporters Association inducted five new members into the Dundee FC Hall of Fame. Gary Harkins, Jim Smith, Bert Slater, Jock Gilmour and Jim Thomson. The club celebrated two other individuals, Eric Ferguson and Bobby Ford who were inducted into the Hall of Fame back in January at the 1973 League Cup anniversary dinner. Dark Blue Property Holdings update - 8th August 2024 Since Dark Blue Property Holdings Ltd submitted its Planning Permission in Principle documentation to the planning department of Dundee City Council on February 8 for the Camperdown Stadium project, it has continued to work tirelessly in the background with consultants to ensure the vision can become a reality as efficiently as possible. Following the awarding of planning permission for the city’s Eden Project on June 20, we received feedback from the council’s planning department on June 28 on our February submission. Since then, we have continued to engage with consultants as well as the planning department to ensure the submission is not only compelling and compliant but enables a more efficient next step in the submission on a full planning application. Based on the timelines above, the August 12 committee meeting will not go ahead as scheduled. While we are all eager to bring the Camperdown Stadium Project to life, we will continue to respect the planning process in the hope that the council observes its stated objective to “work with developers to remove barriers”. We will soon publish a spectacular visual fly-through of the new stadium to whet the appetite of our fans, alongside a new FAQs section on a new microsite within the existing club website. This follows the exciting news last week that the Dundee FC Community Trust has submitted a planning application for a new community training hub at Riverside. This will accommodate our extensive community and youth programmes, as well as girls' and women’s football and the Dundee FC first team. We will continue to keep supporters updated on the exciting developments at Dundee Football Club. #Dundee1893
