Months have gone by since the initial ransomware attack on the City of Dallas and CM Broadnax repeatedly stated that no personal information was compromised, well now he finally admits that was a lie and our personal data was stolen by the hackers.

Heard this one before. Same issue here in Dallas. The excuses from inept city managers and Mayor’s (Turner) is getting tiresome.

#Breaking those behind a ransomware cyber attack on the City of Dallas a few weeks ago have just posted that personal information on city employees will be released soon as well as other confidential files related to court cases and government documents

After repeated assurances that City of Dallas employees personal information was not compromised we find out that it has been and all employees are in danger of identity theft. Thanks city manager...
