An NYU student has released surveillance footage of herself being violently assaulted on Broadway while walking to her 9:30 a.m. class. The video shows a man following her across the street, targeting her, and attacking her in broad daylight as bystanders watch in shock. The suspect: a tall male with long brunette hair and beard, wearing gray sweatpants, a black puffer jacket, and a blue towel around his neck. Police say he's responsible for multiple assaults on women around campus over the past month. The victim's message: "I am a student at NYU. I should not be scared to be walking the street to go to my 9:30 a.m. class. These people are disgusting and they should not be able to be walking around the street freely targeting girls... I heard that this guy did this a month ago. That is not okay. This just shows that you really need to reflect on who you're voting for and supporting right now because New York needs help and we're just not getting the help we need." She's right. A man assaults multiple women over the course of a month and remains on the streets. This is what decades of progressive criminal justice policy gets you.
