Lydia came to us as a 15 year. Her owner is going through some life changes & couldn’t keep Lydia, she reached out to DFW Pug Rescue! Lydia was placed in one of our very fine hospice homes to live out the rest of her life surrounded by family and other dogs where she is loved

A pug in box left at the Walmart!  We brought Shine right into care & provided her all the veterinary & personal care a pug could want! Surprise!  Her ears popped up several weeks later and we had a French Bulldog!  We kept Shine and found her a home.  northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

When Trey arrived, he was lethargic and had labored breathing.  Trey had a severe case of hookworms. Treatment began immediately including a blood transfusion from the vet’s own dog! Oh and the vet tech?  Well she fell in love and adopted Trey.  northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

Tubbs came to us Both eyes were so dry he was blind.  He had ticks and a cough.  So, Tubbs had surgery to be neutered and his eyes removed.  Ticks and his cough treated too. Today, Tubbs is waiting for a person who will give him his forever home. northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

Imagine our surprise when the vet told us that Tiramisu was pregnant, gave birth to four healthy pug puppies!  Today, Tiramisu is spayed, had a dental, and has been adopted into a loving family!  Her four puppies have all been adopted too! northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

Suz was a Dallas street dog.  She had puppies but no one knew what happened to the puppies. Suz’s days on the streets are over! Suz came to us with skin issues and a tick infestation which we treated. Today Suz is adopted and in a loving home! northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

Rescued off the streets of Plainview, TX Orville was suffering from tick borne diseases, ehrlichia and anasplasmosis & the poor boy is blind!  We got him treatment for his illnesses and are in the process of getting him healthy.  northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

With help we were able to get Lyric all the way from southern Louisiana to Dallas. She was heartworm positive.  DFW Pug Rescue provided her with state of the art heartworm treatment and she is happy and healthy and ready for her forever home today!  northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

Liz was on the roster for an Oklahoma shelter.  Liz is 15 years old and in terrible health. Now She has received veterinary care to ease her pains, She is blind and deaf.  She is being lovingly cared for by one of our great foster homes. northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

Flora was rescued off the streets of Dallas.  Flora was pregnant!  Flora got primo veterinary care for her and her SIX puppies until all were ready for their forever homes.  Now Flora is living the life of a diva which she very much deserves! northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

Sweltering heat and the pugs were outside! A cadre of pug lovers got together and raised the funds to rescue Blackie and Junnie and gave them to DFWPRC for a better future!Now they are in their adoptive homes and soon their adoptions will be finalized.  northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

A terrible dog fight left Stellah in much pain with her eye nearly out of its socket and the optic nerve nearly severed.  DFW Pug Rescue was called.  Unfortunately, her eye could not be saved. She is doing well and we expect her to be adopted soon. northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…

DFW Pug Rescue was contacted by the shelter.  Pink was picked up, hustled to the ER where she received the medications necessary to start her recovery & resulted in this girl ending up in the pink of health!  northtexasgivingday.org/donate/dfw-pug…
