Desperately needing social validation is a real curse. You stop being authentic because every action, word & decision gets mentally reviewed through the lens of whether certain people noticed, understood, or approved of it. That's an exhausting way to live.

Saw an opportunity in Placerville, California to build a small subdivision. The deal was tempting until I realized entitlements/permits could take 2-4 years. My goodness. Is this California or Ontario at this point?
