No other injures were reported. Deputies notified the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks about the boat that remained in the water Sunday afternoon.

One person was able to swim to share while two others remained on the boat before a Lawrence Douglas County Fire Medical crew responded and was able to rescue them. Medics treated all three people for cold exposure, but no one was transported from the scene.

Three adults from Johnson County were aboard a sailboat that capsized about 1 p.m. Sunday in Clinton Lake about 50-75 yards from the Clinton Dam Tower. Strong winds caused the boat to overturn.

Deputies arrested a 38-year-old Lawrence man Wednesday afternoon on an outstanding warrant. They had located him at 2 p.m. in the 800 block of Tennessee Street. He ran from deputies, until they located him later hiding in the area. D26-06071
