Every “advance” feels like another way to extract attention, flatten taste, shorten patience. I don’t want a smarter fridge, I want longer dinners. I don’t want better algorithms, I want fewer thoughts hijacked before breakfast. Progress used to mean relief. Now it means surveillance, speed, and burnout wrapped in a clean UI. I’m not anti future. I’m pro stopping. Let things breathe. Let humans catch up to what we already built.
