I would NOT be surprised to see the Bills take a BIG swing at receiver this offseason! Beane hasn’t swung for the fences at WR since trading for Diggs and it’s the one area holding back their offense. A rookie doesn’t guarantee immediate production like a veteran can. There’s a lot of question marks out there but it’s undeniable that the Bills need to improve the talent inside their receiver room and sometimes that requires taking chances. Ideally, I’m adding a veteran via free agency or trade while double dipping in the draft. Every option should be on the table and I believe Beane is more likely to gamble on players with character concerns now that McDermott is gone.

Even if it’s a Grade 2 or Grade 3, that’s still visual tearing seen on imaging and confirmed through clinical testing. If it’s Grade 2, there’s likely residual laxity at this point and it greatly affected his ability to play. He had the injury last year that he reinjured this year. At this point, the knee needs to be surgically fixed bc it’s not healing properly on its own.

Bills HC Sean McDermott on the Brandin Cooks play: “It would seem logical to me to check and see just to make sure. I called timeout to slow down their review process. It’s hard for me to understand why it was ruled the way it was. That’s a pivotal play. I’m saying it because I’m standing up for Buffalo.” Said even if it turned out an interception, “the players are owed a review.”

MY BIGGEST ISSUE WITH THIS.... Had they ruled "unabated" or "encroachment" while the offense was set and made it an untimed down resulting in a FG attempt... I get it. That's the rules. Half cannot end on a defensive penalty. But these losers ruled there was still 1 single second left on the clock when the ball was snapped, which made the defense "off sides".... If you're gonna cheat @NFLOfficiating ... at least make it reasonable to explain.
