Διαβάζω με προσοχή το ανιλέες ξέσκισμα του Newey στη Honda, την οποία όλος ο οργανισμός της Aston Martin έχει πετάξει στη φωτιά για να βγει λάδι. Θα μου επιτρέψετε να έχω μία διαφορετική άποψη. Μας είπε ο Newey σήμερα ότι μόνο αφού επισκέφθηκε το εργοστάσιο της εταιρείας στη Sakura τον περασμένο Νοέμβριο διαπίστωσε ότι μόλις του 30% του προσωπικού που είχε το 2021 βρισκόταν ακόμα εκεί. Ασφαλώς, το γεγονός ότι οι Ιάπωνες δεν είχαν ανοίξει τα χαρτιά τους είναι προβληματικό, και εγείρει ερωτηματικά για το αν και κατά πόσο η επιστροφή τους τελικά έγινε γιατί κάτι τους έταξε το σπορ. Αυτή είναι μία άλλη συζήτηση. Αλλά, ακόμα κι αν δεχτούμε ότι η Honda μαγείρεψε τα πράγματα για να τα βγάλει όπως τη βόλευαν, η Aston Martin και ο Lawrence Stroll, που τόσο προσπαθεί να δώσει ένα πρωταθληματικό μονοθέσιο στον γιο του, γιατί δεν το έψαξαν παραπάνω; Γιατί τους έδειξαν τυφλή εμπιστοσύνη; Όπως και στην περίπτωση με τις δονήσεις και τις μπαταρίες που ήδη τους τελείωσαν (ζητήματα που είναι απόρροια αυτής της κακοστημένης σχέσης), έτσι και τώρα, το φταίξιμο ανήκει και στους δύο. Απορώ που οι Χονταίοι αποδέχονται αυτήν την κατάσταση. Με ποια λογική θα δουλέψει αυτή η κολεγιά; Με ποια βάση; Με αυτή του blame culture, από το οποίο η Honda έφυγε τρέχοντας το 2017; Θα έχει πολύ ψωμί η υπόθεση. #F1
