Today, appointment letters were handed to the families of terror victims and NoKs of government employees who lost their lives in service. My deepest tribute to every terror victim. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the families as they begin a new chapter in their lives.

We stand at a decisive turning point in J&K today. The youth of UT & terror victim families aspire to a bright future and wish to live a better life. It is our shared responsibility to make that future a reality and create the opportunities they deserve.

Chief Minister has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of father of Shri Pyare Lal Sharma, Hon’ble MLA from Inderwal. He extends his heartfelt condolences to Shri Sharma and his family in this hour of grief. The Chief Minister prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and for strength to the bereaved family to endure this irreparable loss.

I am grateful to Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji & Hon'ble Minister of Panchayati Raj & Fisheries Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh Ji for releasing central share of Rs. 111.66 Cr to implement the approved fisheries development project in J&K.

In current FY, a mother sanction for an amount of Rs.10 Cr has been released by the Ministry and once the amount is utilised, the GOI has assured me to release further central share. The GOI is fully committed to improve the livelihoods and welfare of fish farmers of UT.

The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasions of Navroz. In his message, the Divisional Commissioner conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the devotees observing celebrating Navroz.
