@DIncredibleSulk I'd always prefer a matching pair. The Racetecs and Sportecs will have different compounds, construction, feel, grip and warm-up. I'd get the M9RRs and try to sell the rear... it's not going to last that long on a 1000, anyway.

@Neevesy33 after some advice on tyres, just picked up a ‘18 GSXR1000R, it came with racetec RRs, the back has lots of life but front is at wear marks. I would prefer road tyres like M9RR but can’t justify getting rid of the fresh rear on it. Can u mix tyres or replace both 💸?

@Neevesy33 hello Michael, I’m looking for your opinion on best retro between Speed Twin 1200, Original R9T or Kwak 900RS. What would your order of preference be and why , if you were looking to buy ? Thanks

@Neevesy33 quick one for you, I recently picked up a S1000R which has a front M7RR with loads of life but the rear needs replacing should I mix tyres and put the newer M9RR on the rear or is it more important with tyres to match and put an M7RR on the rear ?Thanks

@MannOnABike Thanks I was mainly looking at the M9RR and Power 6 hadn’t considered the S23 , will now.

@DIncredibleSulk Hmm, tough one. It’d be between a Supercorsa and the S23. The Bridgestone probably edges out the Pirelli for durability. Hope that helps.

@andyibbo69 Interesting on the handling looking forward to more updates as you get to know the new machine. On the clutch I think if you go at the adjuster before the clutch lever you should be able to change the biting point or done adjustable levers may cure it

@DIncredibleSulk Thanks mate, 150 miles this aftto, 1st impression, big difference handling, maybe tires, front a bit vague, but once you get over that it holds the bends tight at decent angles, breaks/gears miles better, clutch seems weird, struggling to get it bighting right, speed similar ?

@beckers1000 All depends if you get bored easily if yes then retirement May not be the best option especially if you love your job. However early retirement with funds and yearly goal plan could be wonderful.
