Can you support our community lunches? At the moment, we are looking for donations of the following to support our community lunches at DENW’s Community Hub. We are also looking to provide hot meals for approximately 25–30 people, if you can help, please do get in touch.

@hindleanna @DIsabilityNW I think it is inappropriate for a disability organisation that serves all sections of the political spectrum to post this. We don't have short term memory loss. Labour has devastated welfare for ill and disabled people

@blogpreston Barrier broken near @Swingbridge2 No boats allowed into the docks till the barrier is repaired on Monday as the road cannot be safely closed. Not sure if the road will be shut at some point whilst repairs take place.

The city's new Canopy of Colour installation is coming on nicely! We're officially opening the installation (the largest of its kind in the UK), on Thursday April 30th, on Fishergate. Join @PrestonMayor, @thespudbrothers, representatives of the business community, and the Street Monkeys, from 6.30pm on Fishergate. The Canopy of Colour is a brand new concept for #Preston, which will stay in place until October. It's made from 100% recycled and recyclable materials and provides a welcome splash of colour to the city's high street.
