E-Sim is in Egypt, rolling out in a few days according to my telecom company. We need mobile phone payment though (Apple pay, etc); officials said before it’ll be operational. Nearly all POS in Egyot today can accept mobile payment, but your linked card has to be international.

Egypt to launch e-sim in one month and 5G before end of year. The 4 telecom companies paid $675 million in total to acquire e-sim. Price of telecom to increase as well. A major demand by telecom companies after the latest Egyptian pound devaluation Now still pending: mobile phone payment for Egyptian cards. (Apple Pay, etc). Nearly all POS in Egypt can accept mobile phone payment but you need to have an international card linked to your Apple or Samsung pay Via: Asharq Bloomberg

There’s no reason why competent promoters in DC should be offering less than $300 to DJs to work their events. Promoters need to stop lowballing DJ’s, and DJ’s need to stop accepting these bullshit rates. If you can’t afford to pay folks their worth, you’re in the wrong game.
