Congratulations to Professor Paul Griffiths who was recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours. Professor Griffiths, who worked at the Royal Free Hospital for 38 years, was named an MBE for services to virology. He helped develop a much quicker way of diagnosing and treating an infection called cytomegalovirus in transplant patients.
